Privacy Notice

Scope

This notice explains how the Property Portfolio Accounting Connector (the “Connector”) handles information when an authorized administrator connects a QuickBooks Online company. The Connector is a private, operator-managed tool and is not offered for public registration.

Information handled

The Connector may access and process:

• QuickBooks company identifiers and basic company information;
• chart-of-accounts, class, vendor, customer, and transaction data;
• OAuth credentials needed to maintain an authorized connection; and
• technical logs needed to diagnose errors and protect the service.

How information is used

Information is used only to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the authorized bookkeeping and property-accounting workflow. The Connector does not sell personal information and does not use connected company data for targeted advertising.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure or software providers only as needed to operate the Connector, comply with law, protect rights and security, or respond to an authorized company administrator. Data is not shared with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Security and retention

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to limit access to authorized purposes. OAuth credentials are treated as secrets. Information is retained only for as long as needed for the accounting workflow, legal obligations, security, and backup continuity, then deleted or de-identified where practical.

Choices and deletion

A QuickBooks company administrator can revoke the Connector through QuickBooks Online. To request access, correction, or deletion of Connector-held information, email john@johntipton.com. Requests may require verification of authority over the company file.

Intuit and QuickBooks

QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit. Intuit’s handling of information is governed by its own terms and privacy statements. The Connector is not endorsed by or affiliated with Intuit except through authorized API access.
